Animals rarely live in isolation but rather exist in intimate association with other species, particularly microorganisms, that regulate most of their host physiological processes. The research in our lab focuses on dissecting the complex interactions between pharmacological compounds, diet, gut microbes and host physiological processes responsible for health and disease.
