cell cycle control in multicellular organisms

Our research aims to understand how cells know when and how to divide within a multicellular organism. We use genetic and cell biological approaches in C. elegans to explore the establishment and function of various cell cycle programs. Additionally, we study what happens to cells when cell divisions fail – in particular we’re studying how the spindle assembly checkpoint is regulated in different cell types during development.
