We are interesting in understanding the consequences of different reproductive systems to the population and quantitative genetics of adaptation to novel environments. We use sex-determination mutants in polymorphic populations to conduct experimental evolution and then characterize responses at the life-history, behavioral, metabolomic and transcriptomic levels. We perform QTL and GWAS analysis to determine the genetic architectures of phenotypes during evolution and computer simulations to model the population genetics.
