The main goal of our group is to deeper understand the molecular mechanisms that underlay cell differentiation during development and cancer. We focus our research in pathways that regulate differential gene expression and how mutations on these pathways alter the transcriptional mechanism.
Our group also works on the Wnt-pathway, apoptosis and the cross-regulation between pathways to coordinate the embryonic development.
