The neuroendocrine regulation of physiology and behaviour

We are mainly interested in neuroendocrine regulation of physiology and behaviour, with a focus on neuropeptide signalling. Our core activities involve deorphanisation of neuropeptide GPCRs, for which we then try to find matching phenotypes. We currently hold an ERC grant focussing on neuropeptidergic control of learning and memory. Part of our research team is also focusing on mechanisms of healthy aging and neurodegenerative diseases.
