The BioSciences Screening Unit of the i3S – Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – provides to the internal scientific community and outreach high throughput and high content screening (HCS) in basic and applied research. Access is given to project evaluation, assay development and validation, laboratory facilities, automation and screening, automated microscopy, image and data analysis, required by project teams to successfully run medium-to-high throughput screens.
Information generated using HCA is highly valuable to gain a deeper understanding of complex diseases, including cancer, neurology, immunology, and infectious diseases.
