Our laboratory aim to understand how neurons and glia interact in development and ageing, how the nervous system and the behaviour evolves with the age of the animal. We contributed to describe the transcriptome of each neurons of the worms, made a first description of the evolution of behaviour over ageing of the worm using multiparametric analysis, and showed ectosomes are produced by ciliated neurons and captured by the supporting glia. We explore genes involved in synaptic transmission and neuropeptide release.
