Elucidating the mechanisms of toxicity of environmentally relevant compounds

My research focuses on healthy aging, exploring how environmental chemicals (e.g. PFAS), drugs and foods (e.g. cherry juice, green tea) allow us to live longer and healthier lives. I also work on neurodegenerative diseases, and my group investigates how the environment impacts the onset of diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease
